Kora Organics  is a cruelty-free, certified organic and natural brand. I discovered the brand at Sephora in NYC, and I’m so happy it’s finally available in Europe! A few months ago, I visited the store Douglas in Maastricht (Netherlands) and found Kora Organics’ Noni Bright Vitamin C serum. The safe labels and ingredients sparked my interested right away!

More information about the ingredients:

Looking at the list, this serum includes: Vitamin C Super Fruit Complex, Sodium Hyaluronate and Olive Leaf Extract, for providing smoother, radiant skin and protection from the effects of environmental damage.

VITAMIN C SUPERFRUIT COMPLEX
Includes Kakadu Plum, Acerola Cherry, Orange & Lemon Peel, Noni Fruit and Ascorbyl Glucoside to boosts skin’s protection against the damaging effects of free radicals. This Complex evens skin tone by reducing the appearance of pigmentation & dark spots; and high in antioxidants, polyphenols & bioflavonoids.

SODIUM HYALURONATE
Sodium Hyaluronate is the water-soluble sodium salt form of Hyaluronic Acid. A powerful humectant that attracts and retains moisture to help plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The smaller molecular structure means it can penetrate deeper into the dermis than conventional Hyaluronic Acid. It also aids in reinforcing the skin’s barrier and improves elasticity so skin is firmer.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT
Olive Leaf Extract contains antioxidant and polyphenols to protect the skin from environmental aging, while its anti-inflammatory properties keep skin calm and soothed. It also aids in the inhibition of lipofuscin formation to help reduce the appearance of dark or age spots.

RED PEPPER
A powerful source of carotenoids and antioxidants, Red Pepper offers photoprotection against premature aging induced by sun exposure and environmental stressors. Additionally, it supports healthy collagen production to help increase elasticity, tighten and firm the skin for a youthful complexion.

My Review (non-sponsored):

Kora Organics Vitamin C Serum - The Organic LabelI have a very sensitive combination skin, so trying a new product is always an adventure ?. I bought the product mainly to fade dark spots and fine lines.

For the test, I included the product in my morning routine. Before applying, I first used and organic toner. The texture of the serum is very nice. It’s absorbs very fast, and it’s not oily. It smells nice too! After applying, my skin felt nourished, smooth and soft. I love how it felt so refreshing and that it instantly lifted my skin. After the serum, I applied a moisturizer with SPF (50). I didn’t have any irritation. It’s great to wear under your makeup as well.

Result after a few weeks?

I love it. My dark spots faded away gradually, and my skin looks much more even and radiant.  The serum also reduced the fine lines.

Does vitamin C make you sensitive to the sun?

Unlike hydroxyacids or retinol, vitamin C does not make the skin more vulnerable to sunburn. That being said, the most potent forms of vitamin C are vulnerable to light exposure, and therefore the use of vitamin C must be in conjunction with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB coverage (Vogue, 2010).

Will I buy this product again?

Yes yes yes!!!!
